90° JIC Female 74° Seat

QUICK OVERVIEW

90° JIC Fittings are part of the range of fluid connectors conforming to the SAE J514 and MIL-DTL-18866 standards. The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specifies a 74° angle flare or seat to use with high-pressure hydraulic tubing. They are commonly referring to as JIC couplings. The JIC 74° flare male will mate with a JIC female.

Description

45° JIC Fittings Description

90° JIC Fittings are part of the range of fluid connectors conforming to the SAE J514 and MIL-DTL-18866 standards. These fittings are also known as 74 Degree Flare Fitting or Flare Fitting. JIC Fittings comprises three precision machined components with a 74-degree flare seating surface: Body, Sleeve, and Nut. The tube end flared to 74 degrees included angle and held in between the body nose and the sleeve nut that is on top of them, thus resulting in perfect leak-proof joint, full flow connection in process tubing. The JIC 74° flare male will mate with a JIC female only. Both JIC male and female fittings have straight threads and a 74° flare seat. The seal is made on the 74° flare seat.

Features

  1. International Standards;
  2. An effective seal between the fittings and the flared tube;
  3. Good vibration resistance;
  4. High-Pressure Rating.

    Applications

    Hydraulic hose fittings connect hoses to pumps, valves, cylinders, and other components used throughout a hydraulic system. These fittings secure connections help contain and direct the flow of hydraulic fluid to where required while preventing leaks and safely maintaining pressure. 45° JIC Fitting works best on high-pressure hydraulic applications, especially in fuel delivery and fluid power applications. They are also useful across many industries such as:

    1. Industrial Hydraulics;
    2. Mobile Hydraulics;
    3. Marine Hydraulics;
    4. Mining Industry;
    5. General light Industry;
