BSP Hydraulic Hose Fittings Description

BSP Hydraulic Hose Fittings are part of the range of fluid connectors. Hydraulic hose BSP fittings conform to British Standard Pipe (BSP) technical standards for screw threads that has been adopted internationally for interconnecting and sealing pipes and fittings by mating an external (male) thread with an internal (female) thread. The BSP thread type fittings seal using metal to metal angled surfaces or a combination of metal to metal and an O-ring. The angle of the sealing surfaces is 60° for both forms. There are two popular threads for BSP fittings: British Standard Pipe Parallel (BSPP) and British Standard Pipe Tapered (BSPT).
