QUICK OVERVIEW

Union Elbow is used to connect two female BSP fittings to each other. It is a British Standard Pipe Parallel thread fitting union with 60° cone. Material has been made of high grade carbon steel that provides a perfect durability.

BSP Union Elbow Features

Use BSP Union Elbow with 60° cone adapter that has a straight thread.  BSP or BSPP is acronym for British Standard Pipe Parallel.  Connect two female BSP with the same or different sizes to each other using  Union 90° Elbow. Sealing can either metal-to-metal or via a seal or O-ring.  BSP Union Elbow has British standard G thread.  Assembling this adapter is very easy and makes it possible to do any repair in the system when it’s required.  Reuse of Union Elbow BSPT is considered safe, since the thread is not a dry seal connection.  Remember to replace the seals or O-rings in case of reuse. Different material and custom sizes of this product are available, for more details, check the Data Sheet above.

Product Selection

Considering amount of system pressure, and function you must choose the proper connector. Also, consider the environment where this product will be used in (e.g. humidity, mechanical pressure, temperature). 

Usages of these high pressure fittings are common in all fields of hydraulic.  After choosing the proper adapter size based on the fluid volume, pressure, media, and other properties, adaptor can be installed. Install Union Elbow between two BSP female connectors of the same size. Remember, since there is an angle across the flanks of threads in BSPT connectors, it is not possible to connect them together, even if they have the same size (mentioned in the description, BSPP is a parallel thread fitting).
